Wicked Lovely

Here is the discussion post for our second book this month. Here is a brief summary from the author's website.
Aislinn has always been able to see faeries, and she has always followed the rules to avoid them. But when Keenan, the Summer King, pursues Aislinn, the rules that have protected her no longer work. Keenan wants Aislinn to be his queen, and even as she struggles to avoid that role, she proves herself worthy of ruling the Summer Court. But Keenan’s mother, the Winter Queen, will stop at nothing to prevent Aislinn from assuming her rightful place in the faery realm.

Again with this book try to think about how it could fit into our theme of "Beneath the Surface."  Some things aren't quite what they seem, especially when reading books with supernatural characters. Which characters did you feel were trying the most to be something they were not?

Here are some other questions that you can think about while reading...

Why did Beira kill Keenan's father and what direct and indirect consequences does it have on the Summer Court?

What are the signs that show Aislinn was meant to be the Summer Court Queen?

What is ironic about the fact that Donia and Keenan are truly in love?

To participate in this discussion simply comment to this post below. You can discuss any of the question above, if you would recommend the book, or if you decided not to read this book for a certain reason. Remember all comments are monitored.

If you are participating in the Summer Reading Program you must either post to this book or The Hunger Games to get points.

Some brought in a written response into the library and that is fine too! Either way you are participating!!
