UPDATE!!!

Breaking News!! In order to stay on top of your suggestions and comments The Stacks will now be updated EVERY Sunday by 5pm starting TODAY!!

This week's update...

The stacks is continuing to read Ten and Hourglass for November. Questions will be posted soon but feel free to comment on any post how you are doing and what you think about these books. Paper copies of our discussion questions are also NOW available at the library in the front "Stacks" display. We currently only have one copy of Ten available at the library but can order from other libraries, if you are interested comment here or ask any on duty librarian!

Brand new books will be announced on December 1st for our "Winter Break with The Stacks" edition. We will have the usual 2 books to choose from (or read both) and will also debut a NEW Winter Contest. Make sure you subscribe to this page or look for updates on Facebook and/or at the library "Stacks" display!!

Seek the Unknown...



... with Teen Read Week!! Let us know what you want to try, what you like, and what you don't like!!
Here at the Stacks we are celebrating with a Book Poster Contest!!

Just imagine your favorite book is being made into a movie... what would it's poster look like? Create a poster for your favorite book and bring it into the library before October 19th. These will be judged by patrons of the library for a chance to win an Amazon Gift Card or all three books of the Hunger Games Series!!!

FYI we are still reading Ten and Hourglass... there are copies and discussion questions available at the library!

We're getting ready for Teen Read Week which starts Sunday October 13th and to help get everyone ready YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) has introduced a new app for all of you iPhone, iPad, and iPod users!! The YALSA Bookfinder app is available FREE from the App Store and can help you find exactly what you are looking for!
